#songoftheday / VIDEO: Grimes – “Go” ft. Blood Diamonds

Grimes’ debut album, Visions, was a marvelous electro-pop journey of the most artistic variety.  Our one complaint was that the vocals weren’t more prominent in the mix, often making it hard to understand what she was singing.  Well, we’re thrilled to say that she’s increased the vocal level here on her comeback single “Go” featuring Blood Diamonds.  It’s also a fantastic song all around with great, punchy beats, layers of lush electronic soundscapes and an overall catchy vibe.
