VIDEO: Foo Fighters – “Something From Nothing”

This one reminds us of The Beatles and Weezer, especially in the beginning.  You can also hear the influence of Queens of the Stone Age, Josh Homme’s songwriting approach clearly having rubbed off on ol’ Dave, which makes sense since they collaborated together in their band Them Crooked Vultures.  We love how “Something From Nothing” just builds and builds as it goes on, as if they truly were making something from nothing.   Still, it’s a very different sound for Foo Fighters.  We quite like it though.  Their new album just might be their most interesting record to date.
