“The Pleasure and the Pain,” the new single from Lenny Kravitz — from last year’s Strut album — is a sweet, bluesy, rock ballad that sounds ripped straight out of the ’70’s like most of Lenny’s music. Although at this point we should all shut up about his music sounding like ’60’s or ’70’s music and simply say it sounds like Lenny, seeing how he’s been doing this for roughly twenty years now, which is, obviously, as long as the ’60’s and ’70’s combined! In any case, I love it and if for no other reason that’s why it’s today’s #songoftheday… Just do NOT watch the video at work…
