#songoftheday / VIDEO: Diplo & Sleepy Tom – “Be Right There”

Diplo doesn’t need help from anyone else to create a mammoth EDM banger, but he’s collaborated with Sleepy Tom here anyway and you can thank your lucky stars that he did because the result is a truly invigorating beast of a song.  It also features gorgeous vocals, an interpolation of Jade’s classic “Don’t Walk Away,” sung beautifully here by Priscilla Renea.

BTW, if you’ve never heard of Jade before,  you should — no, must — hunt down their 1992 album Jade to the Max, which still holds up today with its big beats and smooth R&B/pop vocals.
