#songoftheday / REVIEW: DUCKY – “Winter Song”

The video for DUCKY’s new single “Winter Song” doesn’t start off looking like your typical winter, but that’s clearly the point.  Her EP — out now via Skrillex’s free label NEST — is called Los Angeles and I believe that’s where the video was filmed.  To that end, I must say, boy, do I miss winters in Los Angeles.  You’ll wish you were there, too, as you see all the fun she has in this video as she goes searching for snow, partying with some women in bikinis and finding other amusing things to do along the way.  The bouncy, wobbly tune is the funnest club instrumental you’re going to hear this week, too!

“The concept for this video came to me in a dream. I was a winter girl lost in the middle of summer, searching for snow. It was so fun working with Quinn AKA Quasar Media to make my dream a reality – even though it was 90 degrees when we shot it!” – DUCKY
