Gigi Rowe is one of my favorite new pop stars. Her recent EP was the best thing since salted caramel. This remix of “Run The Night” by Pancho takes the song over to the darkside. Oh, it’s not so dark that it’ll give ya nightmares. But it might keep your kids out late dancing. It’s totally a club-banger and is ready to be dropped into DJ sets stat. I only mention the darkside because there is a dark under-belly to the sounds here. The original track was very light and fluffy. In a good way. But this is powerful and is made from a much thicker substance, largely those sonorous beats that will blow you out of your room. So, listen to the original version of “Run The Night” by day and listen to the Pancho remix by night.
