#songoftheday = G-Eazy – “Calm Down”

Loving the monstrous beats on this one!  They’ll get your subwoofer roaring for sure.  Of course, if you have cheap speakers they might blow them, so crank it up at your own risk.  Seriously though, I love how G-Eazy mixes what are basically pop beats with his super cool rap skills.  He’s kind of like a cross between Eminem and Snoop Dogg.  He’s got the fierceness of Eminem (although not so much on this track) and the laid back attitude of Snoop.  He’s also the best thing about Britney Spears’ single “Make Me.”  No offense to Britney.  It’s not a bad song.  The other songs she’s released ahead of her new album are all pretty bad though.  So, spend your money on a G-Eazy album, peeps.
