#songoftheday / #amlistening = BUTCHER BABIES: “LOOK WHAT WE’VE DONE”
I’ve been a fan of Butcher Babies since they debuted, but I’ll admit that their music has often taken a backseat to their image. That isn’t the case with this video for “Look What We’ve Done,” which is like a combination of a music video and a behind-the-scenes documentary. That said, you really should listen to the song on Spotify below in order to fully appreciate it. I think what makes me like it so much is that it shows a, dare I say, softer side of the band. The lyrics also have more substance to them than many of their previous singles, which tended to be more like shock rock (or shock metal). Even if you normally dislike the band, it’s highly possible that you’ll dig this gem. Play it loud!
